Imperial Forums

Hotel Casa Tra Noi Rome is one of the cheapest hotels in the heart of Rome, at just 5 km from the Imperial Forums, which constitute a series of monumental squares built in a century and a half (between 46 BC and 113 AD) near the Colosseum.
These squares were used to perform administrative activities and ceremonies, celebrations and entertainment considered areas suitable for the imperial necessity.
The imperial architecture reached high levels with the construction of these extraordinary monuments especially for the richness of the decorative and sculptural apparatus.
Visit the Roman Forum is a unique and fascinating experience. Through them, walking among the ruins, admire what has remained intact for centuries can wrap each person in a special and unique ambience in the world.
It is not part of them the Roman Forum, that is the old Republican Square, whose first arrangement dates back to the royal age (sixth century BC) and that had been for centuries the center of political, religious and economic center of town, but without having ever a unitary character. However under Caesar and Augustus, the construction of the Basilica Giulia and the rebuilding of the Basilica Emilia, that marked the long sides of the square, gave a regular basis at the Forum.
