Trevi Fountain

Hotel Casa Tra Noi Rome is one of the cheapest hotels of the city, located at only 6 km from the most famous and spectacular fountain in the city, also famous by the Anita Ekberg’s bath in the film "La Dolce Vita" by Fellini.
The Trevi Fountain was built between the 1732 and the 1762 by Nicola Salvi as the terminal part of the Virgin aqueduct, built by Agrippa, a general of Augustus in 19 BC in order to bring water from the Salone springs, to ensure that the water supply of the thermae.
The name Trevi comes from the word trivium indicating the meeting of three streets that form the present square.
The legend is that a young girl showed to thirsty soldiers the source from which flowed water in abundant quantities and the aqueduct was named thanks to her.
The result of this masterly work makes the complex a veritable masterpiece, made with almost theatrical appearance, which leaves the visitors enchanted by a sense of wonder.
Everyone now knows that, if you want to return to Rome, we must turn our backs to the fountain and throw a coin in the pool ... we hope that the wish will come true.
